The primary goal of Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation is to find and fund clinical research that results in better treatments and quicker implementation for gynaecological cancer patients.
Using the existing logo as a starting point, the new branding was developed to be more modern and flexible across many different mediums, from screen to print. The emphasis on the her in Cherish was maintained in a more subtle way, with a supporting underline as apposed to a different font and weight. The logo itself was then paired with various tag lines, their use dependent on the context in which they were in.
Due to the time and budget constraints for the website portion of the Cherish project, we unfortunately were only able to supply assets to an external developer. While this was happening I took the liberty of using my own time to build the website using Craft CMS as a learning exercise for myself.
This turned out to have been a good idea, as this version was used at launch and for the first couple of days following, due to a corrupted WordPress database issue with the other version.
